Make sure to always have the following:
- 20+ note cards
- 20+ Review Cards
- 10+ Large Deep Clean Cards
- Pens
- Make sure your appearance is net and friendly when you arrive at the home.
You must leave a note for your client after every visit, with no exceptions. You also need to leave one of the dog treats, toys, or candy we have for the clients. Building a positive relationship with clients is so much more than cleaning. Having strangers in your home while you are not there, touching all your things, and silently judging you (I say that to be funny, but it’s how some people feel!) is a very vulnerable feeling. A good friendly note and a positive attitude can go a long way! The number one thing you can do to establish a positive relationship is to show the client you are happy to be there. Act happy about your job. That’s it! Easy, huh?
Note card examples:
- Hope this clean starts for weekend off right! Happy Friday!
- Sammy (your cat) gave us a GOLD star today- We hope you do the same!
- Roxanne (the cat) was so happy to see us today. She chased the vacuum all over the house!
- Tom (the dog) has finally stopped barking when we arrive to clean. I guess he figures we belong here now!
- Deep thought of the day? When you clean a vacuum cleaner, you become a vacuum cleaner.
- Happy Cleaning Day!
- Psst: Hey Michael (the kid) We left you a rubber duck in your bathroom! Have a great one!
- Another one fights the dust!
